Humans need to be in the driving seat (#2)

In our series #AIPeople I invite colleagues and people from academia and business to take time out and discuss why they’re involved in AI and ultimately, why they love it.

In this second part of her compelling conversation with Claudia Nemat, Hannah Fry makes it clear that people should not blindly rely on technology - such as navigation systems or parking aids with sensors, which repeatedly lead to misunderstandings and accidents. "We need to make sure that we interface with our algorithms in a way that doesn't allow people to turn off their brains and just accept what the machine says."

Tune in!

Yours Jan
