Deutsche Telekom and Google Cloud Partner on Agentic AI

Deutsche Telekom and Google Cloud are developing an AI agent to enhance Radio Access Network (RAN) operations – the technology connecting mobile devices to the core network. Using advanced AI technology, the agent analyzes network behavior, detects issues, and implements corrective actions to enhance reliability while reducing costs.

Unlike traditional systems, this agentic AI can think, reason and act independently. It detects anomalies and executes self-healing actions without human intervention. “We are pioneering AI agents for networks as a step towards autonomous, self-healing networks,” says Abdu Mudesir, Group CTO at Deutsche Telekom.

By combining Deutsche Telekom's telecom expertise with Google Cloud's AI capabilities, this partnership aims to build the next generation of intelligent networks, ensuring fewer disruptions, faster speeds, and an overall enhanced mobile experience for customers.
